Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival.

Check with your travel provider to make sure your passport and other travel documents meet the visa requirements.

STEP 1

All event participants are recommended to apply for a conference visa.

To obtain the clearance letter and invitation letter for the conference visa application,

you are required to register for the event and fill out the visa compliance form.

STEP 2

The organizers will submit your passport details to the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, to obtain the clearance letters. This process usually takes 30-45 days to process the application and issue the clearance letter.

STEP 3

India has introduced an ‘e-visas’ system, allowing applications to be submitted and approved online before travel. Please note that you will need to upload the clearance letters from the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, along with the invitation letter for your conference visa application. The e-conference visa typically takes 48-72 hours to be processed and granted.
