About

Delhi Airport is not merely a travel hub; it symbolizes India’s expanding global presence, guided by a strategic focus on Passenger Experience, Sustainability, and Technology. It ranks among the world’s top 10 busiest airports, offering direct flights to over 148 destinations across six continents.

With three operational passenger terminals, four runways, and a passenger handling capacity exceeding 100 million annually, Delhi Airport also stands as India's largest. It also leads as a cargo gateway with an annual capacity of 1.8 million metric tonnes, expandable to 2.3 million metric tonnes. The airport features state-of-the-art infrastructure, including an elevated taxiway that enhances operational efficiency and sustainability, and India’s first exclusive General Aviation Terminal for private jets, complete with luxury amenities and dedicated services.

Passenger experience is at the forefront of Delhi Airport’s enhancements. The recent expansion of the International to International (I-to-I) transfer area at Terminal 3, now approximately 3,000 square meters, offers an improved layover experience for international travellers by providing a more comfortable and efficient transfer process
