About the Speaker

Shri    V.    Vualnam    is  an  officer    from    Indian    Administrative Service (IAS) of Manipur cadre of 1992 batch.  He assumed  charge of Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation on 1st September , 2023.

Prior to his taking over charge as Secretary, Civil Aviation , he was serving as Additional Secretary in Ministry of Finance. He had also served as Joint Secretary  in Ministry  of Home Affairs, Adviser to ED in World Bank (Washington DC) and as Secretary in the State Government of Manipur.

Shri V. Vualnam has a Bachelor of Commerce  (B.Com.) degree and Masters Degree in MA (Public Policy).

This session brings together two key figures shaping Indian aviation—Mr. SGK Kishore, Executive Director & Chief Innovation Officer, GMR Airports and Mr. Vumlunmang Vualnam, Secretary - Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, India.
