Videh Kumar Jaipuriar has been the Chief Executive Officer of Delhi International Airport Ltd. since December 2017. He has over 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Delhi International Airport Ltd., he served as a Managing Director of Jubilant Industries Ltd. He has also collaborated with other companies including Bunge India, Blow Plast Ltd. and Britannia Industries Ltd. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and master’s degree in marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He is a Director on the Board of Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific & Middle East.
In his 7 years + stint at Delhi International Airport Ltd, the airport has grown from strength to strength.
- Delhi Airport has grown from 63.4 Mn. Passengers (Domestic / International) in 2017 (calendar year) to 77.7 Mn. Passengers (Domestic / International) in 2024.
- Total capacity has been increased from 65 Mn. in 2017 to 100 Mn. now.
- In the last 6 years, it has constantly been ranked as No. 1 airport in ASQ ranking in its category.
- He played a vital role during Covid crisis and worked with different agencies to help re-open aviation.
- One of the key contributions by Delhi International Airport during covid was creation of Air-Suvidha portal which helped different Government agencies to validate the details of arriving passengers before landing and helped passengers processing across all airports in India.
- He is looking forward to making Indira Gandhi International Airport one of the top 3 airports in the world.
