About the Speaker

With over 19 years of experience spanning aviation, hospitality, travel, and attractions, Syaifullah has held diverse roles in business development, investments, asset management, sales, marketing, operations, and overseas management.

Early in his career, he worked as an overseas manager for Singapore Airlines, living and working in global destinations like Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Ho Chi Minh, and Mumbai. During his tenure with Changi Airports International, he led successful investment and consultancy teams in Asia and the Middle East.
As General Manager at Merlin Entertainments Singapore, he steered the company through the challenges of COVID-19, achieving substantial sales growth.

At Airport Dimensions, Syaifullah leads APAC business development efforts, expanding the company's presence, including the recent Kyra lounge opening in Hong Kong and fostering key partnerships in the region.

Diversifying Commercial Offerings at Hubs – Latest Trends of Non-aeronautical Activity Development at Airports

Over the years, many airports have transitioned from infrastructure entities to autonomous businesses. This trend underscores the need for airports to develop multiple revenue streams and to expand non-aeronautical commercial offerings to diversify risks, enhance competitiveness and strengthen financial resilience.
